Nakanoshima Shipyard carries out two types of work: "new shipbuilding," which involves building ships, and "repairs," which involve taking in and maintaining ships currently in operation.
Service 01
New ships
There are many different processes that go into making a ship.
Nakanoshima Shipyard builds safe, high-quality ships.
Step 01
Hull
This is the main part of the hull, and is the structure that ensures the ship's watertightness and buoyancy. It is made up of the outer shell, internal structure, bottom, etc., and when these are combined, the entire structure of the ship is completed. This department starts from nothing and is built up through the involvement of various industries.
Step 02
Outfitting
This process mainly involves installing the necessary equipment for ships. It covers a wide range of tasks, including hull outfitting, engine outfitting, pipe outfitting, electrical outfitting, and wooden outfitting, and we are responsible for all processes from launching to trial operation and completion.
